Fruits And Their Healing Properties
There is a popular belief that if we consume a lot of fruits and we take care of using only healthy eating recipes our body will be maintained healthy for a long time and we are going to live a longer life. While this may include a seed of truth, it’s not always a valid statement. Some fruits have been attributed fat burning effects, and despite the fact that it was never scientifically proven, diets such as the Grapefruit Diet continue to be very popular worldwide, especially these days, when so many people are overweight, thanks to the wrong nutritional habits. Such habits also generate health troubles, as it is already well-known that natural fatty acids like Omega 3 can help the heart to function better and can prevent cholesterol from accumulating in the blood vessels.
If Fast Food Restaurants Were Serving Fruits…
It’s really a shame that even countries like China are starting to forget their natural way of eating, and they shift towards fast food with all the speed. Children don’t want fruits anymore. They want McDonalds, they want KFC, they don’t care that the food is not healthy, as long as it is very tasteful. Parents are facing a big challenge, and very few of them manage to wake up the passion for eating fruits and vegetables in their children. I’ve seen this film on TV, where a Chinese dad asked his little kid if he wanted to go eat at a local specific restaurant, and the kid answered that he’d prefer to go at a well-known fast food one, because the foods in there taste better than traditional Chinese dishes.
It’s a positive thing for fast food chains that they’ve started to add fresh salads in their menu, as they may contribute to the correct feeding of children and teens who tend to appreciate more the fact that they find some toy in their meal rather than the food quality. If we base our eating habits on “if it tastes good, it should be healthy”, we might be wrong.
