Glyconutrients and Food Supplements

It is more and more a fact that our nutrition lacks the essential ingredients which supply our body energy and which stimulate and enhance our immune system. Under these circumstances, we can help this lack of adequate nutrients intake with nutritional supplements, also known as food supplements. They are not exactly drugs, they don’t cure anything, and they are commercialized under different laws than usual medicines. Some of these products belong to big companies like GBG, who have lots of representatives who can teach you how to use such health products.

Glyconutrients, the New Class of Food Supplements

One class of food supplements are the ones based on glyconutrients. They were developed as a follow to several studies in a new medical discipline called glycobiology, which managed to prove that the human body needs eight sugar molecules which secure its normal functions. These sugars, once introduced into the body,  go through a series of chemical transformations under the effect of protein and fat molecules, emerging into new substances called into glycoforms, which attach themselves to the cells’ membrane. One of their most important roles is to enable cells to communicate effectively with each other.

Whenever these sugars fail to operate (because they are not present in the body in sufficient quantities), cell-to-cell communication tends to break down and the body becomes ill. This leads us to the importance of food supplements with glyconutrients.

I’m giving you only one example: Nutratose is a combines all 8 essential , thus enhancing the overall well-being state of the human body. At least this is what the manufacturing company representatives claim.

Some nutritional supplements were developed with more precise aims: for instance, Procognin is an efficient memory enhancer; it helps improve memory and cognitive function.

based products like CarboCurb can help your weight loss process by supplying the nececssary of fiber to reduce carbohydrate absorption. You eat and CarboCurb works for you.

Glycobiology is only in its beginnings. As more scientific studies will be conducted, more benefits will probably be discovered, and all this science will go into new drugs or wonder pills that would promise us to live longer and better. I’m not a big fan of taking pills, but when I see scientific evidence that it works, I may give it another thought. Nonetheless, I like to read and stay up-to-date with current discoveries, even if I don’t feel ready to use them myself.
